I work with quality hair colour brand NXT, which delivers 100% white coverage and colour that lasts and satisfies the needs of all customers. This range includes 111 intermixable permanent shades, which are vegan friendly, PPD and paraben free, all containing innovative anti-fade colour technology for depth and vibrancy that lasts! The range also includes 37 ammonia-free semi permanent colours, which last between 18 – 24 washes, making them ideal for customers who love colour, but aren’t so keen on commitment. These colours are also perfect for refreshing the ends of previously coloured hair or toning lightened, bleached, or natural hair. I also use the IQ range of shampoo, conditioners and specialist haircare and styling products, which are sulphate free, paraben free, vegan friendly and enriched with amaranth, which is known for its nourishing, restorative qualities. This strengthens the hair from follicle to tip and can be effective at reducing hair loss.

Hi there, welcome to Aurora Belle Hair and from myself the owner Jordan. This is my very first blog so I wanted to introduce myself and provide you with a little more information into what I do, why I became a hairdresser and more.

I am a young hairdresser, qualified NVQ level 2 and 3 in all women’s hair services and men’s cutting services. I have worked in the hair industry for 5 years and during that time have loved cutting, colouring and styling hair. A real passion for hair has grown and a desire to set up my own salon was brewing so I did just that!

At the start of this year I made the decision to set up shop after a small property became available to rent. With the help of family and friends I began to renovate the property I rented into the Salon it is now and I am so pleased with the finished space. What I love about my Salon is its location, being on the outskirts of Badshot Lea means that my customers can have easy and free parking meaning less stress and more time to relax with a new hair treatment.

It is fair to say that this might not have been the easiest of years to start up a business of any kind besides a Salon in the wake of COVID-19 but I was determined to make it work. That is another great thing about my salon, being small means that I can have one client in at a time and make sure I have enough time between clients to do a thorough clean down.
